Calibration Accreditation Department

Calibration Accreditation Department conducts the conformity assessment and accreditation of calibration and testing laboratories in the field of "electrical", "mechanical" and "construction" areas.

These activities are conducted in accordance with the criteria defined in TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 “General Conditions for Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories" standard and the guideline documents prepared by International Laboratory Accreditation Association (ILAC), European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA) and TÜRKAK.

Our Department benefits from the Assessor and Technical Expert pool, which includes the employee of the Agency and external personnel while carrying out the accreditation process of the calibration and testing laboratories. These qualified experts are the people whose impartiality and qualification is guaranteed and whose knowledge and skills are updated according to international criteria.

The accreditation of laboratories in accordance with TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard ensures the reliability their issued testing reports and calibration certificates.

Providing high esteem at the national and international level offers customers an easy method to identify and select reliable test, analysis and calibration services. Therefore, accredited laboratories have the opportunity to get a wide range of customers because of their national and international competitiveness.

Calibration Accreditation Department updates itself by following the international developments and continues its activities with the awareness that “the necessity about the measurements and the tests performed at the local scale are valid in global scale" and “being the assurance of the competence of the accredited bodies within its responsibility “.

Calibration Accreditation Department's activities are the guarantee for the execution of the testing and calibration activities at competent hands which is needed by the conformity assessment bodies aiming to compete in global scale.​
