Accreditation plays a vital role in building trust between countries. The joint steps taken by RENAR and TÜRKAK strengthen quality and trust both regionally and globally.
The Romanian Accreditation Body RENAR celebrated its 35th anniversary with a grand event in Bucharest, attended by national and international stakeholders. TÜRKAK Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu, who participated in the event, highlighted in her opening speech the strong cooperation between the two countries and the critical role of accreditation in building global trust.
The meeting was attended by 700 participants, including top executives from accreditation bodies of European Accreditation Union member countries, international conformity assessment organizations, academics, experts, and public officials. During the ceremony, Müderrisoğlu was awarded a “Diploma of Excellence” by RENAR Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Fanel IACOBESCU for her participation.
In her speech at the ceremony, Müderrisoğlu stated: “Accreditation plays a vital role in building trust between countries. The steps we have taken with RENAR in mutual recognition, technical cooperation, and knowledge sharing continue to enhance quality and trust both regionally and globally.”
Müderrisoğlu also shared the vision of being a pioneer in digitalization and artificial intelligence use, thanked RENAR for its 35 years of contributions to the sector, and added, “I believe we will take even stronger steps together.”
The event also emphasized the friendly relations between Turkey and Romania, as well as the shared vision for strengthening Europe’s quality infrastructure.
