TÜRKAK was the national accreditation body that gave the highest contribution per person/day to the peer evaluations carried out by the EA.
Although TÜRKAK's 176 person/day participation in EA peer evaluations was foreseen in the 3-year period covering the years 2020-2022, as of the end of 2022, TÜRKAK contributed 236 people/day to these peer evaluations, 34% more than anticipated.
What is Peer Evaluation?
Peer-evaluation is a system for supervising the compliance of accreditation bodies that are members of the EA with international standards. It is expected that EA member accreditation bodies will provide expert contribution to peer evaluations, and it is aimed that the certificates given by accredited conformity assessment bodies will have international recognition thanks to this system.
